I bought an all-electric ID.4 in 2023 from Larry Miller VW. After a long, difficult argument with the IRS about why they wouldn't honor my tax credit, they finally admitted that it was because my dealer hadn't filed a required form. When I got the General Manager on the phone, he swore up and down that he'd get it fixed right away. That was more than 2 months ago, and in spite of many prompts by me he hasn't done a thing. VW Corporate hasn't had any more luck than I have in inspiring him to accountability. He could probably submit the IRS filing in about 5 minutes and it wouldn't cost Larry Miller VW a penny, but evasion and deception are apparently more rewarding than follow-through. I'm far from done fighting, but there's $7500 of my money on the line for no better reason than the pleasure they're apparently taking from my misfortune. Needless to say I'm taking my car to another dealership for its service work.

I called Larry H Miller Volkswagen Avondale and spoke with the salesman by the name of Danny I made it very clear to Danny the amount of money that a dear friend of mine had to work with so much down and over the phone Danny said that's great that'll you are right there come on down and so I told him I couldn't make it but that my friend would be coming would you please take good care of her his response was absolutely yes I will will. Needless to say Danny is a liar and a thief and it doesn't matter to him how he affects people's lives he just will lie cheat and steal, what a shame. I mean I am not accustomed to doing business with people like this at all. Honestly I'm shocked that there are places that can operate this way and remain in business. In no way do i recommend anyone to do any business with Larry h Miller VW in Avondale Az

I visited this dealership on June 11, 2025, to potentially test drive a Jetta. I met with salesman Andres Mendez. After test driving a car, I told Andres that the Jetta was not going to be the car for me. However, I told him that I would like to see what they would pay me for my vehicle. When we got back inside the dealership, I handed Andres the keys to my car so that he could evaluate it. He then said that he will be back with some numbers on the Jetta. When I reiterated that I did not want the Jetta, Andres poured on a little hard sales tactic. I then told him to disregard evaluating my car and I asked him to give my keys back, while simultaneously reaching for the keys from his hand. Andres quickly moved backward and refused to give me my keys. He just said, "I got you. I got you". I was about to get loud and make a scene, but there were service customers nearby, so I just allowed him to go evaluate the car. He returned shortly and gave me an offer. He then handed me the keys, and I left the dealership. The fact that Andres refused to give me back my keys when I asked is very unethical, if not criminal. Please beware when visiting this dealership.
