The 2023 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is the more fuel-efficient version of the Highlander mid-size SUV. It seats up to eight passengers across three rows. Maximum cargo capacity is 84.3 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down.
Five trims are available: LE, XLE, XLE Bronze, Limited, and Platinum.
It is powered by a combined 243-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive is available. Fuel economy for the Highlander Hybrid is an EPA-estimated rating of 36/35 mpg city/highway (slightly lowered to 35/35 mpg for certain trims).
