I am writing this review to warn other customers about my experience at Toyota of Renton. I went to Toyota of Renton for a routine visit, and during that time they told me they tested my car battery and said it was failing and needed immediate replacement. Based on their diagnosis, I was advised that the battery was at risk and should be replaced. Trusting their professional opinion, I immediately went to Costco and purchased a new battery. Since my original battery was still under warranty, I returned it to Costco for a refund. However, Costco tested my old battery in front of me, and the results showed the battery was in good condition. They tested it two more times, and all results confirmed the battery was good. To be absolutely sure, I also took the battery to a separate independent repair shop, and again, the battery tested normal with no issues. I later returned to Toyota of Renton to speak with the service manager. The only response I received was a printed battery test result from them. There was no explanation, no accountability, and no resolution, despite clear evidence from multiple independent tests showing the battery was fine. I have kept all printed test reports as documentation, which clearly show conflicting results between Toyota of Renton and multiple other professional testers. This experience caused me unnecessary stress and wasted time, and it seriously damaged my trust in this dealership’s service department. I strongly advise other customers to be cautious and seek a second opinion before approving any repairs or replacements here. I will not return to Toyota of Renton in the future.

I had a very positive experience with Toyota of Renton. The entire process was very quick and no nonsense, which I appreciate. My salesman Tavian was very helpful with finding the truck I wanted and expediting the process. The finance dept. was great, and I also found the service dept. to be very helpful and easy to work with. I would take my business to this dealership again.
