I saw a 2021 Toyota Rav4 listed for a good price on
I saw a 2021 Toyota Rav4 listed for a good price on AutoTrader.com. I inquired, and it was available. They sent an email with the wrong price - $1,000 more than the AutoTrader listing. I checked to make sure the price was really the price advertised, and a salesman named Omar confirmed it was. I drove 45 miles to Richardson, and was helped by a nice salesman named Amine. I test drove and decided to purchase the car. Then they started talking about all kinds of extra "fees"... I said I would only pay their asking price, plus tax, title and license fees. When that was taken back to the "manager" I was presented with a final price that added over $2,500 to the purchase price, and was told that was the best deal - they had overpaid for the car and couldn't sell it for the advertised price. That's when I left. Deceptive pricing practices, a form of bait and switch. Beware this dealership. Both Omar and Amine were very nice. Management obviously plays games. Then I went to another Toyota dealership and purchased virtually the same car for a bit less than the asking price at Toyota of Richardson... AutoTrader.com shows the price at $34,893 and the return email from Toyota of Richardson showing "today's price" of $35,967. I also have a screenshot of my phone where they clearly told me the price was $34,893.

Price not as advertised
Wasted time with Bryan Johnson. Contacted him about a Tundra for sale that was listed on their website for $23,964. I go and look at the truck and test drive it. I like it and am willing to purchase the vehicle at the listed price. On the way out to the lot from his office, he starts to ramble on about some kind of maintenance package. I just let it go since I plan to do all the maintenance myself. After test drive and on the way back indoors to talk about the purchase he states the maintenance package is $4,000. I stop and say what, he again states that all vehicles have to have this package when they sell their cars. I have purchased several cars in my life and not once have dealt with any must-have maintenance package from any dealer. He also said that it's on the fine print on the website. I don't like how this is going and leave. I CAN NOT FIND IT ANYWHERE ON THEIR SITE IT STATES THE VEHICLE IS SUBJECT TO A MAINTENANCE PACKAGE. YOU LOST A SALE AND A CUSTOMER AND THOUGH I MAY BE ONE SMALL CUSTOMER I DO HAVE A VOICE. This is what I found on their site. "*Get Today's Price is available to all customers and can also be obtained by calling or coming into the dealership today.Purchase prices do not include tax, title, license and $150 doc fee. Prices include the listed rebates and incentives. Please verify all information. We are not responsible for typographical, technical, or misprint errors. Inventory is subject to prior sale. Contact us via phone or email for more details." Bad move Brian and Toyota of Richardson.

Stay away from this dealership
Bought a used VW sport wagon, that was described as excellent. Got 200 miles from the dealership and every service light possible came on. Stay away from the dealership and salesman Jacob!!!
