BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE SERVICE DEPT- I took my 2023
BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE SERVICE DEPT- I took my 2023 Tundra to Miracle for its 35,000-mile service. I told the service advisor that I wanted the services that Toyota states are needed at 35,000 miles. When I picked the truck up later in the day, the bill was $1,690. I thought that that was expensive, but I was in a hurry, so I paid the bill and left. Later, I examined the invoice and found that they performed 10 services, totaling $1,400, that were not needed. I tried to resolve this issue with Miracle directly, also with Toyota Corp.'s Brand Engagement Center, and also with the SC Dept. of Consumer Affairs, but no luck. Finally, I sued them in small claims court. I lost because the judge in essence said that this was a case of buyer beware. I was supposed to have examined line-by-line the work that they stated that they were going to perform before I gave them the go-ahead. Note that they do not perform the services as listed in the Toyota Service Guide; they have their own "Dealer Services" that they dreamed up, which includes a lot of items that are unnecessary.

Warning!!! Not sure if this company is having financial issues or is just fraudulent but beware. We sold our 2024, 4 runner to them 8-7-25 it took them until the middle of September to get the vehicle paid off, we had to make an extra payment so it didn't hurt our credit. It then took until the middle of Oct for them to pay us what we were owed, and the first check they gave us bounced, almost causing us to bounce checks in our account, two weeks later they got us another check, that was 200.00 less than what was owed. Yesterday the GM Derek was able to get that to us, and told me he had personally paid it, to get the event behind them. Derek was the only person there who would answer questions or help in any way, but seemed he had little control in any of this. Would never expect this kind of business from an established Toyota dealership. Seemed very fraudulent and unprofessional. Stay clear of this dealership!
