I have called the dealership for Toyota and held my ring
I have called the dealership for Toyota and held my ring New York four times , with little to no response. I asked for a lease with $6,000 down on three different models of tires of vehicles. One was a RAV4 LE, ANOTHER WAS a Camry LE. I spoke with them regarding the listen options as presented on Toyota.com website as per the offers. I requested the cost of all incidentals including state and other various charges and taxes. Was very disappointed and response. All I got was a monthly payment charge that exceeded over plus dollars a month over the original title of website offer. The local dealer price I was quoted for the same exact vehicle from the dealer at $479 at 36 MO lease and 15 miles a year!! Based upon 6000 down payment?? Sending me no documentation as per requested! I have leased 3 new Toyota , vehicle in the past several years. Looks like my last vehicle with Toyota Motor based upon this last experience I received!

Dishonest Dealership
I was looking for a new RAV4 Hybrid and decided to look in Elmira where I have family. I was prepared to pay cash for the car. I spoke with the internet specialist, Allison Stuart who was helpful in the beginning, followed up with me and notified me of any new RAV4's being sent to their dealership. On Nov 8th she emailed me that a RAV4 Hybrid was coming in and AVAILABLE. It was everything I wanted on the car, color and accessories. I told her I wanted it Nov 8th in the morning. She asked for the VIN # on my trade in to get me a price. I waited all day for a call back for my trade in value. Around 4pm she emailed me "there was a pending deposit on the car and it is sold" I couldn't believe it. In the morning the car is available to buy but by the afternoon sold under me. I contacted the General Manager, James Oppedisano, the following day and explained what had transpired. He told me he would look into it and get back to me. He never got back to me. Horrible experience and dishonest dealership. BEWARE

Beyond expectations!
I asked the service department to order a replacement part for my Prius. It arrived and I went over to pick it up. To my dismay and embarrassment when I went to place it where it belonged on the car I discovered that I didn't need it in the first place. I took it back to the service department and asked if I could return it and get it credited back on my credit card. The service manager had to get involved, and even though the part involved was not able to be returned, he did authorize the credit. I was amazed that he'd approve the credit, and promised that I'd write a good review as a token of my appreciation. I've learned that every service organization can suffer a bad experience in trying to satisfy a customer, I was prepared for the worst and got the best.
