C F Schwartz Toyota

Maybe the sales people are okay but the service people left a big crack in my interior panel when they pulled it apart to replace the rear tail light assembly and refused to fix it. They tried to say some other guy must have done it but no other guy ever pulled that panel apart. That crack was not there before I brought it up there, I certainly would have seen it when I looked at the light bulb. Oh and when I brought it back to point out the problem John the service guy calls over the mechanic or tech and asks wad the crack there before and the guy says I don't know. A few days later with my car no longer there the tech changed his mind and the crack was there before after all!! ( according to the service guy) Dishonest people.

Other than buying parts, I haven't even been a customer (thank goodness) and have been routinely disgusted by this organization when forced to call them. And as they say, the fish rots from the head. Before buying a Lexus (elsewhere), they told me they service them all with no problem. So, I bought it thinking I wouldn't need to drive to Wilmington from Dover for service. Turns out they don't, so I began servicing it myself as much as possible. That was the first lie, which I also called to reconfirm in advance, from the service dept. Even their generic Toyota parts are outrageously priced, so I order everything over the phone from Lexus dealers, who actually charge much, much less than CF Schwartz, and then actually ship them to me at no additional cost. I've had some complaints about some Lexus service departments, but Lexus parts departments know customer service and are fantastic in every respect. Never mind the rudeness of their service dept., CF Schwartz seems to specialize in shady practices and price gouging. They recently lit their huge sign to say "we will service your Lexus", so I called to inquire and find out what changed. Nope, nothing has changed. They can't do anything more on any Lexus than on anything else, from a Chevy or Honda to a Jaguar, Audi, or Bugatti. They also told me they can't warranty Lexus parts that source even though Lexus is Toyota Corporation. So, why specify "Lexus", if not simply to deceive, xxxx off, and waste a lot of people's time? They can't do anything more than Jiffy Lube or Pep Boys, who probably even have more scruples than CF Schwartz. And of course, when I called with optimism, the service dept was rude, said they hadn't seen their own illuminated sign, and rudely hung up on me (par for the course there). Even to buy a simple bolt, I'll never do business with this organization and steer everyone far from them. They're among the worst of the worst, and I'm not mentioning the stories I've heard from others who have actually bought and serviced vehicles there. I also worked in the industry many years ago and the industry was more ethical then than this organization is today.

Took my truck for service the manager with beard was very rude .when i spoke up to him he told me not to come back to this shop .I would not use them again after taking my truck to them for over 5 yrs NO MORE!
