Tracy Toyota – Extremely Poor Customer Service & No Respect for Customer Time I am writing this review out of deep frustration and disappointment with the customer service at Tracy Toyota, particularly the service department. I was called by Tracy Toyota for a promotion and scheduled an appointment for Saturday—my day off. I drove 40 miles to arrive on time. Upon arrival, I was quoted the regular price, and when I questioned it, I was told, “Oh, you should have told me it was a promotion—it's not attached to your account.” This was confusing and unprofessional, as your dealership initiated the call, not me. I was then told they needed additional time to look up the promotion. I left my car at 9:15 AM and clearly stated I needed my car back by 11:30 AM, so I declined all other services and requested only an oil change. I waited and received no update at all. At 11:30 AM, I went back to the service desk. The original advisor was busy, I waited again, and then another person helped me after 15 more minutes—now it was 11:45 AM. Only then was I told: “Your car is about to go into service, we need another 30 minutes.” This was unacceptable. I have been a Toyota customer for over 10 years. I purchased a brand-new Toyota in 2019 with full service coverage. Due to COVID, I missed one service, which is understandable. However, even after COVID, every time I came to this location, there was always an excuse: “Car wash is out of service” Services I already paid for were not provided On another visit, my car was held all day, only for me to be told late in the day to come back tomorrow At some point, one has to ask: Does customer service still exist here? Does Tracy Toyota respect customers’ time—especially those who drive 40 miles and plan their day around an appointment? As a community member and a long-term Toyota customer, I find this level of service unacceptable and disappointing. Management and staff should be seriously concerned about how customers are treated and how poorly appointments are handled. I hope this review reaches management and leads to real changes, because this experience does not reflect the standards Toyota should stand for.
