Poor service and misdiagnose of my Rav4 Hybrid.
Poor service and misdiagnose of my Rav4 Hybrid. Went in May 2023 for rodent damaging my windshield wipers wiring harness. Was fine until Nov 2025 when the wipers stopped working when I was driving in the rain in a remote area. Real dangerous. Brought it back to Hanlees Davis Toyota and they did a diagnosis and assured me it was not the wiring harness they fixed. I was skeptical. They told me to replace the wiper motor which I did at Novato Toyota since it was more convenient. One week later, wipers stopped working and Novato Toyota did their own diagnosis. They said it was the faulty wiring harness Davis Toyota installed and misdiagnosed. Davis Toyota gave me money back for repairing the wiring and diagnosis but not the wipers motors I didn't need which I paid $500 for. They didn't apologize, indicate concern, or show much care on putting me in a danger, wasting my time, and costing me money for the time I took off work to deal with this. Please beware of taking your car to them.

I've been taking my 2022 to this dealer for a majority of it's services. It's been mostly a good experience, but yesterday was a big, expensive service (almost $1,000). The service advisor Luis, told me it would be at least 2 hours, I told him it was fine, but that I needed to know if it would last beyond a certain time because I had to pick my kids up from school in Vacaville. I received no follow up during my 3 hour stay, every time I went looking for Luis, he was gone. Eventually I asked the ladies at the Cashier desk if they could page him. Turns out he was at lunch, which is fine, everyone's gotta eat, but he knew I was on a time crunch and could have at least let one of the other service advisors know to keep an eye out for my car while he was out. Instead, I waited around for him, when he eventually came back, I immediately got the text telling me my car was ready, which made me think it was sitting in his inbox the whole time he was out. I'm not one to make a scene, but he obviously noticed my frustration, he ushered me out of there as quickly as possible without even acknowledging the inconvenience. I'm not one to expect white glove treatment everywhere I got, but given how much money I just spent and how often I've gotten service there, this simply was not good enough. I anticipate not returning there for service, and advise anyone who does to avoid the service advisor Luis if you can.
