Be careful, ask a lot of questions. IMO service advisors do not advise. I’ve used Big Two Toyota for years (Juan R is awesome), had another issue that pushed me to other Toyota dealerships for service. Decided to try Big Two again due to proximity, but think that was a bad decision. My Sequoia didn’t sound right when starting, thought it was the battery. Well drove it into service drive and told Service Advisor I need an alternator…because I had (2) Auto Zone guys say my battery is good, but thought the alternator is starting to fail. Well, $1,360 (after $150 discount) later alternator was replaced and got email saying, “ We replaced the alternator per your request, but it looks like your starter is failing. The vehicle started fine when it was pulled in, but when the tech went to pull it out after he had the work finished, he noticed the starter issue on 2 tries and then it was normal again. Unfortunately, to replace that starter is an additional $1275+tx over the initial $1382+tx. I was able to do $150 off the initial $1382 and can do another $150 off on the starter repair for you if you want us to take care of it.” Wish I would have been “ADVISED” to check alternator to confirm that was issue…but we will never know weird sound when starting was alternator or starter.

Our 2nd purchase with Jonathan at Big Two. No chance I would work with anyone else. Communication is great, he’s fair, works hard to get the buyer a fair deal and makes the process as seamless as possible. Bought a new Camry a couple of weeks ago and was in and out if dealership in 56 minutes because Jonathan was proactive in doing as much as possible before we arrived. Highly recommend!
