Great daily driver with some power to back it up

by Kyle from Washington PA | May 12, 2020

Car is great in Pennsylvania winter, it has a great exterior styling but the interior feels cheaper. I’m not upset with this as it’s a sub 30,000 car and I see the trade off with the legacy for the price is the engine being ~100 horsepower more to the crank while the legacy with less power has a much nicer interior. Also VERY happy this car comes in a Manual and will continue to buy them so long as this stays.

WRX: affordable performance car

by Aguyon from Philadelphia, PA | April 02, 2020

Great handling, quick acceleration, fun to drive. Not great on gas in the city, but pretty good on the highway. Had the short-throw shifter installed, which was a great decision for city driving. I would but it again, but my next car will be an automatic (city commute), probably a 2020 Crosstrek.

Fun car for the price

by GoDAWGS from Brooksville, FL | March 14, 2020

It has ok space, and good mid-range power. Top end power is poor. It looks good in person, but it is not a photogenic car. Long term maintenance and gas mileage is very poor.

2019 Subaru WRX Overview

The 2019 Subaru WRX is a compact sports sedan. It is powered by a standard 268-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission and symmetrical all-wheel drive. A Sport Lineartronic Transmission with paddle shifters is also available.

Three trims are available: the base model, Premium, and Limited.

Complementing the WRX’s symmetrical all-wheel drive is the Active Torque Vectoring system, which reduces understeer and enhances steering response during sharp turning maneuvers.  Fuel economy for the WRX manual is an EPA-estimated 21/27 mpg city/highway. It slightly decreases to a 18/24 mpg rating for the WRX with the Sport Lineartronic transmission.
