The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is a ruggedly styled, compact hatchback that shares its platform with the Impreza. This year, it receives a mid-cycle refresh with more black trim cladding. It has a ground clearance of 8.7 inches, which is 3.6 inches higher than the Impreza. It has a maximum cargo capacity of 54.7 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down.
Four trims are available: Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited.
Powering the Crosstrek is a standard 152-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a standard continuously variable automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. A more powerful 182-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is available with the same drivetrain. Fuel economy for the 2.0L Crosstrek is an EPA-estimated rating of 27/34 mpg city/highway. It decreases to a 26/33 mpg rating for the 2.5L model.
