We love our beautiful Subaru! Wonderful car. Wished we would of had more time for salesman to walk us thru features in car.

I had an appointment for my 2024 Subaru because the
I had an appointment for my 2024 Subaru because the driver's side rear tire has been slowly leaking air. Upon inspection, they found two problems. They patched one hole and then I was told they could not fix the other hole because of the location. They quoted me $280 for a new tire. I came home and found the exact tire on 3 different sites for all below $180. I then took my car to Belle Tire in Findlay and upon inspection there I also needed a new tire, but they matched the price of the cheapest online. The biggest issue is the discovery that your service department mounted my tire on incorrectly today. They are asymmetrical tires and the inside was put on the outside. This is unacceptable. I will have a hard time returning to Great Lakes Toyota for any further service on my vehicle.

Thank you for the response, I reviewed our quote, it appears your current tires are at 6/32 tread, for proper Subaru drive train operation your tires need to be within 2/32 tread depth. That maybe why the price is different, the tire distributor shaves the tire down , so your vehicle will operate properly. New Falken tires of your design are 9.5 / 32s. If your running one new 9.5 and the others are at 6, that could lead to issues down the road. Mounting, you are correct these tires do have a asymmetrical tire tread, I'm surprised we would mount it incorrectly, I apologize for that , I hope to see you again, we do our best to provide you the best service possible & we will continue to do so.
