I started the buying process through Consumer Report and David Kelleher reached out to me with a quote. He was a pleasure to work with.Since I had bought my current Forrester from the same dealership I felt going back to them. I made an appointment with David to get an appraisal on my current car for trade-in as well check out the color. I had mentioned to David before going in that I was not ready to buy the car at that very moment and I would need about a day or so to think about it. David was nice enough to let me know that I could even lower price through Costco since I was a member. The offer they made to my trade-in was a low ball number, less that what CarMax was offering and I shared it with David. Mr Behdad Fanazad , the Sales Manager came over and showed my what they had found through the inspection. I told him that I knew all the issues and had listed them. He kept asking me if I was going to buy the car then and there and I said "No". He upped the offer by 25% and I told him that it was not good enough. At this point he made the comment, I am paraphrasing it "You can take the car to CarMax, sell i there and you can come back here and buy the car followed by I can do better if you want to buy right now". Best way I can sum up his attitude is to say he was dismissive and disrespectful. This dealership has lost me for good!

I purchased a 2025 Subaru Forester in November 2025 and Bikash Shrestha was my sales consultant. Bik took the time to explain the new features on the 2025 model, highlight some features that I may not have been aware of, and showed me several vehicles in different colors. I explained that I have received email "coupons" from both Fitzgerald Subaru (as a repeat customer) and the Subaru head-quarters. Fitzgerald accepted the coupons and I received an excellent price on the vehicle. During the entire process, Bik worked to ensure that the process was a smooth one for me. Overall, the entire Fitzgerald Subaru staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. H.W., Rockville, MD.

I had the easiest hassle free car buying experience with Matt Sullivan. Congenial and knowledgeable, he explained every feature of the Outback that had my interest. We test drove one, I was informed of the car options available, the warranty options, the financing, all purchase details reviewed and confirmed. Nothing hidden, no sleight of hand here at all. I had a highly satisfied customer experience with Matt at Fitzgerald Subaru.
