Wasn?t very happy when they told me I had a broken wheel stud and they wouldn?t cover it under warranty. I have a bumper to bumper warranty.

I’m writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at C & S Car Co during my visit on Friday, August 15, 2025 to consider a brand-new vehicle. Prior to arriving, I was told online that I would be able to take the vehicle overnight so my husband could also drive it. I arranged my schedule and took a half day off work based on that representation. After spending about 45 minutes at the dealership—test driving and listening to the full sales presentation —I was informed I would not be allowed to take a car overnight. I explained that my bank had already authorized me to write a check and that I was likely to purchase the next day, but I was told the manager would not permit an overnight test drive. I then visited Community Motors, where—within 10 minutes—I signed a standard form and was permitted to take a 2025 Chevy Trax Activ home overnight. I decided against that model after a short drive and returned it. During that time, I called the dealership back to request taking any 2025 Hyundai Kona home overnight, since I was told the yellow unit I was interested in, was the only one in the state. I made clear the color did not matter; I simply needed my husband to evaluate how the model drives. I was told that he would have to call his manager. I was then texted that the manager would allow an overnight drive on Monday. I had already taken time off on Friday and was not going to take additional time off to return Monday. When I asked why Monday would be acceptable but not Friday, I was told perhaps it was because weekends are busier. As of today, the website still shows eight (8) 2025 Hyundai Kona in stock, including the "ONLY YELLOW ONE IN THE STATE", that I likely would have purchased on Saturday, had I been allowed the overnight test drive. The experience felt inconsistent with what I was told beforehand and resulted in a significant waste of my time. Because of this, I purchased a new (Yellow)2025 Nissan Kicks SR from John Deere Motors, who by the way, was amazing and also allowed me to take a vehicle home on a Friday night, without hesitation. I will NEVER do business with C & S Car Co and will encourage anyone one that is in the market for a new car, to NOT do business at C & S Car Co. I encourage them to review their online communications and choice in management to prevent other customers from having a similar experience.
