Comparison Review

Comfort
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the MINI Hardtop with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the MINI Hardtop in the front seats.

Convenience
With the Mercedes-Benz C-Class you will definitely be making fewer stops at the gas station than with the MINI Hardtop, due to its larger tank size and better fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Mercedes-Benz C-Class will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the MINI Hardtop, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Destination Charge for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is much higher than that for the MINI Hardtop.

Dimensions
Since the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is much wider than the MINI Hardtop, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the MINI Hardtop.

Handling
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class has about the same turning radius as the MINI Hardtop, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class has a much more powerful engine than the MINI Hardtop. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Powertrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the MINI Hardtop.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the MINI Hardtop.

Warranty
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the MINI Hardtop.
