Comparison Review

The Mazda CX-90 offers rear passengers about the same room to stretch out as the Toyota Highlander, with comparable head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between front seat comfort in the Mazda CX-90 and the Toyota Highlander.

You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Mazda CX-90 as you will with the Toyota Highlander, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Whether you pick the Mazda CX-90 or the Toyota Highlander, it's going to cost you about the same.

Since the Mazda CX-90 is much wider than the Toyota Highlander, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Mazda CX-90, which is slightly longer than the Toyota Highlander.

The Mazda CX-90 has a significantly larger turning radius than the Toyota Highlander, making it much more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

If you've got something you need to pull, the Mazda CX-90 will do just as well as the Toyota Highlander, since they have about the same towing capacity. The Mazda CX-90 has a little more horsepower than the Toyota Highlander.

With somewhat higher torque, the Mazda CX-90 transmits power to its wheels a bit more effectively than the Toyota Highlander.

In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Mazda CX-90 and the Toyota Highlander. The Mazda CX-90 has less cargo space than the Toyota Highlander, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.
