Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Honda Insight than the Nissan Altima. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Honda Insight, drivers may find the Nissan Altima a little roomier and somewhat more comfortable.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Honda Insight as you will with the Nissan Altima, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Honda Insight will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Nissan Altima.

Dimensions
The Honda Insight is a little narrower than the Nissan Altima, so you'll have an easier time getting in and out of the car in a tight parking spot. If you go with the Honda Insight, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Nissan Altima.

Handling
The Honda Insight has a smaller turning radius than the Nissan Altima, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Honda Insight has less horsepower than the Nissan Altima, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Powertrain
The Honda Insight has much less torque than the Nissan Altima, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Honda Insight and the Nissan Altima.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Honda Insight than that of the Nissan Altima.
