Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the extended cab will be able to stretch out a lot more with the GMC Sierra 2500HD than the Nissan Titan XD. The GMC Sierra 2500HD will be a favorite with tall drivers and their passengers, since it has much greater head- and legroom than the Nissan Titan XD.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The GMC Sierra 2500HD is somewhat more expensive than the Nissan Titan XD. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Destination Charge for the GMC Sierra 2500HD is much higher than that of the Nissan Titan XD.

Dimensions
Since the GMC Sierra 2500HD is much wider than the Nissan Titan XD, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the GMC Sierra 2500HD, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Nissan Titan XD.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque engine, the GMC Sierra 2500HD doesn't do as good a job transmitting horsepower to its wheels as the Nissan Titan XD.

Handling
The GMC Sierra 2500HD has a larger turning radius than the Nissan Titan XD, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
With the GMC Sierra 2500HD, you'll be able to pull heavier loads than the Nissan Titan XD, due to its slightly better towing capacity. When it comes to horsepower, the GMC Sierra 2500HD greatly outmuscles the Nissan Titan XD.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit the same number of people in the GMC Sierra 2500HD as you will the Nissan Titan XD.

Warranty
The basic warranty of the GMC Sierra 2500HD is not as nearly as extensive as that of the Nissan Titan XD.
