Comparison Review

Comfort
The Genesis G90 offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the Lexus LS 500 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. The Genesis G90 will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Lexus LS 500.

Convenience
The Lexus LS 500 requires fewer visits to the gas station than the Genesis G90, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Genesis G90 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Lexus LS 500. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Genesis G90 and the Lexus LS 500 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Genesis G90 is about the same width as the Lexus LS 500. When looking at overall length, the Genesis G90 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Lexus LS 500.

Handling
The Genesis G90 has a significantly larger turning radius than the Lexus LS 500, making it much more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Genesis G90 has less horsepower than the Lexus LS 500, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Powertrain
With its lower torque, the Genesis G90 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Lexus LS 500.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Genesis G90 and the Lexus LS 500. The Genesis G90 has less cargo capacity than the Lexus LS 500, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Genesis G90 than that of the Lexus LS 500.
