Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the BMW M4 than the Ford Mustang, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Ford Mustang and the BMW M4 in the front seats.

Convenience
The Ford Mustang will require fewer stops at the gas station than the BMW M4, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Ford Mustang is clearly a better financial choice over the BMW M4. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Destination Charge for the Ford Mustang is much higher than that for the BMW M4.

Dimensions
Since the Ford Mustang is much wider than the BMW M4, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Ford Mustang, which is slightly longer than the BMW M4.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Ford Mustang doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the BMW M4.

Handling
The Ford Mustang has a smaller turning radius than the BMW M4, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Ford Mustang is significantly less powerful than the BMW M4. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Ford Mustang and the BMW M4. The Ford Mustang has less cargo capacity than the BMW M4, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The basic warranty of the Ford Mustang is not as nearly as extensive as that of the BMW M4.
