Comparison Review

Comfort
Rear passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Ford Edge than in the Honda Pilot. The Ford Edge will be popular with taller drivers and passengers in the front seat, due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Honda Pilot.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Ford Edge as you will with the Honda Pilot, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Ford Edge will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Honda Pilot.

Dimensions
Since the Ford Edge is much slimmer than the Honda Pilot, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. The Ford Edge is slightly shorter than the Honda Pilot, which may make it easier to park.

Handling
The Ford Edge has a larger turning radius than the Honda Pilot, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When considering towing capacity, the Ford Edge is clearly the choice over the Honda Pilot for pulling heavy loads. The Ford Edge has a little less horsepower than the Honda Pilot.

Powertrain
With somewhat higher torque, the Ford Edge transmits power to its wheels a bit more effectively than the Honda Pilot.

Utility
Soccer Moms beware - the Ford Edge seats a lot fewer people than the Honda Pilot. The Ford Edge has less cargo space than the Honda Pilot, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.
