Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Honda CR-V than in the FIAT 500X, due to its greater head- and legroom. The FIAT 500X offers just a little more front head- and legroom than the Honda CR-V, making it a little more comfortable for the driver and front passenger.

Convenience
The Honda CR-V requires fewer stops at the gas station than the FIAT 500X, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the FIAT 500X will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Honda CR-V. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Destination Charge for the FIAT 500X is much higher than that for the Honda CR-V.

Dimensions
Since the FIAT 500X is much slimmer than the Honda CR-V, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the FIAT 500X, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Honda CR-V.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the FIAT 500X transmits power to its wheels a bit more effectively than the Honda CR-V.

Handling
The FIAT 500X has a smaller turning radius than the Honda CR-V, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When considering towing capacity, the FIAT 500X is clearly the choice over the Honda CR-V for pulling heavy loads. The FIAT 500X has a little less horsepower than the Honda CR-V.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the FIAT 500X and the Honda CR-V. The FIAT 500X has significantly less cargo capacity than the Honda CR-V.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the FIAT 500X than that of the Honda CR-V.
