Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will feel a little more squished in the Chevrolet Spark than in the Toyota Prius, due to the Chevrolet Spark's smaller rear head- and legroom. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Chevrolet Spark, drivers may find the Toyota Prius a little roomier and somewhat more comfortable.

Convenience
With the Toyota Prius you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the Chevrolet Spark, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Chevrolet Spark is clearly a better financial choice over the Toyota Prius. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Chevrolet Spark and the Toyota Prius have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Chevrolet Spark is much slimmer than the Toyota Prius, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Chevrolet Spark, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Toyota Prius.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Chevrolet Spark doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Toyota Prius.

Handling
The Chevrolet Spark has a smaller turning radius than the Toyota Prius, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Chevrolet Spark is somewhat more powerful than the Toyota Prius.

Utility
The Chevrolet Spark has less seating than the Toyota Prius, making the Toyota Prius the better choice if you need to chauffeur many passengers. The Chevrolet Spark has significantly less cargo room than the Toyota Prius, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The Chevrolet Spark comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Toyota Prius.
