Comparison Review

Comfort
The Cadillac XTS offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the Volvo S90 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Volvo S90, the Cadillac XTS may be a little roomier and more comfortable for the driver and front seat passengers.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Cadillac XTS as you will with the Volvo S90, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Cadillac XTS is somewhat more expensive than the Volvo S90. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Cadillac XTS and the Volvo S90 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Cadillac XTS is much slimmer than the Volvo S90, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. When looking at overall length, the Cadillac XTS takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Volvo S90.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Cadillac XTS doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Volvo S90.

Handling
The Cadillac XTS has about the same turning radius as the Volvo S90, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Cadillac XTS has less horsepower than the Volvo S90, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Cadillac XTS and the Volvo S90. The Cadillac XTS has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the Volvo S90.

Warranty
The Cadillac XTS comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Volvo S90.
