Comparison Review

Comfort
The Cadillac XT4 offers rear passengers about the same room to stretch out as the Honda Pilot, with comparable head- and legroom. The Cadillac XT4 will be popular with taller drivers and passengers in the front seat, due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Honda Pilot.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Cadillac XT4 as you will with the Honda Pilot, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Cadillac XT4 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Honda Pilot. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. Both the Cadillac XT4 and the Honda Pilot have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Cadillac XT4 is much slimmer than the Honda Pilot, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Cadillac XT4, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Honda Pilot.

Handling
The Cadillac XT4 has a smaller turning radius than the Honda Pilot, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the Honda Pilot is clearly the choice over the Cadillac XT4 for pulling heavy loads. The Cadillac XT4 has a little less horsepower than the Honda Pilot.

Powertrain
With similar torque, the Cadillac XT4 and the Honda Pilot are about even in transmitting their respective horsepower to the wheels.

Utility
Soccer Moms beware - the Cadillac XT4 seats a lot fewer people than the Honda Pilot. The Cadillac XT4 has significantly less cargo capacity than the Honda Pilot.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Cadillac XT4 than that of the Honda Pilot.
