Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Volvo S60 than the Cadillac CT4, due to its greater head- and legroom. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Volvo S60, the Cadillac CT4 may be a little roomier and more comfortable for the driver and front seat passengers.

Convenience
The Cadillac CT4 will require fewer stops at the gas station than the Volvo S60, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Cadillac CT4 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Volvo S60. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Cadillac CT4 and the Volvo S60 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Cadillac CT4 is a little narrower than the Volvo S60, so you'll have an easier time getting in and out of the car in a tight parking spot. When looking at overall length, the Cadillac CT4 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Volvo S60.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Cadillac CT4 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Volvo S60.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Cadillac CT4 is significantly less powerful than the Volvo S60. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Cadillac CT4 and the Volvo S60. The Cadillac CT4 has less cargo capacity than the Volvo S60, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The Cadillac CT4 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Volvo S60.
