Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Chevrolet Tahoe than in the BMW X5, due to its greater head- and legroom. The Chevrolet Tahoe will be a hit with tall drivers and their front seat passengers, since it has greater front head- and legroom than the BMW X5.

Convenience
The BMW X5 requires fewer stops at the gas station than the Chevrolet Tahoe, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the BMW X5 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Chevrolet Tahoe.

Dimensions
Since the BMW X5 is much slimmer than the Chevrolet Tahoe, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the BMW X5, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Chevrolet Tahoe.

Handling
The BMW X5 has a larger turning radius than the Chevrolet Tahoe, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the Chevrolet Tahoe is clearly the choice over the BMW X5 for pulling heavy loads. The BMW X5 has a little less horsepower than the Chevrolet Tahoe.

Powertrain
With its lower torque engine, the BMW X5 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Chevrolet Tahoe.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the BMW X5 and the Chevrolet Tahoe. The BMW X5 has significantly less cargo capacity than the Chevrolet Tahoe.
