Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the BMW X7 than in the BMW X3 M, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between front seat comfort in the BMW X3 M and the BMW X7.

Convenience
With the BMW X7, you will definitely be making fewer stops at the gas station than with the BMW X3 M, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the BMW X3 M will have less of an impact on your bank account than the BMW X7. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. Both the BMW X3 M and the BMW X7 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the BMW X3 M is much slimmer than the BMW X7, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the BMW X3 M, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the BMW X7.

Drivetrain
Due to its much higher torque, the BMW X3 M does a much better job of transmitting its engine's horsepower to its wheels than the BMW X7.

Handling
The BMW X3 M has a smaller turning radius than the BMW X7, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the BMW X3 M greatly out-muscles the BMW X7.

Utility
The BMW X3 M has less seating than the BMW X7, making the BMW X7 the better choice, if you need to chauffeur many passengers. The BMW X3 M has significantly less cargo capacity than the BMW X7.

Warranty
The BMW X3 M comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW X7.
