Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the BMW M4 than the Lexus RC 300. The Lexus RC 300 will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the BMW M4.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the BMW M4 as you will with the Lexus RC 300, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The BMW M4 will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Lexus RC 300, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW M4 and the Lexus RC 300 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The BMW M4 is a little wider than the Lexus RC 300, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. When looking at overall length, the BMW M4 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Lexus RC 300.

Drivetrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the BMW M4 does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the Lexus RC 300.

Handling
The BMW M4 has a significantly larger turning radius than the Lexus RC 300, making it much more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the BMW M4 has a much more powerful engine than the Lexus RC 300. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW M4 and the Lexus RC 300. The BMW M4 has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the Lexus RC 300.

Warranty
The BMW M4 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Lexus RC 300.
