Comparison Review

Comfort
The BMW M4 offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the BMW 440 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW M4 and the BMW 440 in the front seats.

Convenience
With the BMW 440 you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the BMW M4, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The BMW M4 will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the BMW 440, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW M4 and the BMW 440 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the BMW M4 is much wider than the BMW 440, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. When looking at overall length, the BMW M4 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the BMW 440.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the BMW M4 transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the BMW 440.

Handling
The BMW M4 has a larger turning radius than the BMW 440, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the BMW M4 has a much more powerful engine than the BMW 440. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW M4 and the BMW 440. The BMW M4 has significantly less cargo room than the BMW 440, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The BMW M4 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW 440.
