Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Volvo S90 than the BMW M340, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW M340 and the Volvo S90 in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the BMW M340 as you will with the Volvo S90, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The BMW M340 is somewhat more expensive than the Volvo S90. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW M340 and the Volvo S90 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the BMW M340 is much slimmer than the Volvo S90, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the BMW M340, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Volvo S90.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the BMW M340 transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Volvo S90.

Handling
The BMW M340 has a smaller turning radius than the Volvo S90, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

When it comes to horsepower, the BMW M340 is somewhat more powerful than the Volvo S90.

Utility

Warranty
The BMW M340 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Volvo S90.
