Comparison Review

Comfort
The BMW M2 offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the BMW M4 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW M2 and the BMW M4 in the front seats.

Convenience
The BMW M4 requires fewer visits to the gas station than the BMW M2, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the BMW M2 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the BMW M4. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW M2 and the BMW M4 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The BMW M2 is about the same width as the BMW M4. The BMW M2 is slightly shorter than the BMW M4, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
With similar torque, the BMW M2 and the BMW M4 do an equal job of transmitting their engine's power to their wheels.

Handling
The BMW M2 has a smaller turning radius than the BMW M4, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The BMW M2 has less horsepower than the BMW M4, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW M2 and the BMW M4. With its significantly greater cargo capacity, the BMW M2 will be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the BMW M4.

Warranty
The BMW M2 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW M4.
