Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the BMW 750 than the BMW M340. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW 750 and the BMW M340 in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the BMW 750 as you will with the BMW M340, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The BMW 750 will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the BMW M340, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW 750 and the BMW M340 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the BMW 750 is much wider than the BMW M340, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the BMW 750, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the BMW M340.

Handling
The BMW 750 has a significantly larger turning radius than the BMW M340, making it much more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the BMW 750 has a much more powerful engine than the BMW M340. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Powertrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the BMW 750 does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the BMW M340.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW 750 and the BMW M340. The BMW 750 has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the BMW M340.

Warranty
The BMW 750 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW M340.
