Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the BMW 750 than the BMW 540, due to its greater head- and legroom. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the BMW 540, drivers may find the BMW 750 a little roomier and somewhat more comfortable.

Convenience
The BMW 540 will require fewer stops at the gas station than the BMW 750, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the BMW 540 is clearly a better financial choice over the BMW 750. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW 540 and the BMW 750 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The BMW 540 is a little narrower than the BMW 750, so you'll have an easier time getting in and out of the car in a tight parking spot. If you go with the BMW 540, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the BMW 750.

Handling
The BMW 540 has a smaller turning radius than the BMW 750, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the BMW 540 is significantly less powerful than the BMW 750. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Powertrain
The BMW 540 has much less torque than the BMW 750, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Utility
The BMW 540 offers greater seating capacity than the BMW 750, making it a better choice for those who find themselves chauffeuring others around.

Warranty
The BMW 540 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW 750.
