Comparison Review

The BMW 440 offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the BMW M240 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW 440 and the BMW M240 in the front seats.

The BMW 440 will require fewer stops at the gas station than the BMW M240, making it more convenient to drive.

There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The BMW 440 is somewhat more expensive than the BMW M240. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW 440 and the BMW M240 have similar Destination Charges.

Since the BMW 440 is much wider than the BMW M240, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the BMW 440, which is slightly longer than the BMW M240.

With its lower torque, the BMW 440 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the BMW M240.

The BMW 440 has a larger turning radius than the BMW M240, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

The BMW 440 has less horsepower than the BMW M240, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW 440 and the BMW M240. The BMW 440 has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the BMW M240.

The BMW 440 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW M240.
