Comparison Review

Comfort
The BMW 430 offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the BMW 440 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the BMW 430 and the BMW 440 in the front seats.

Convenience
The BMW 430 will require fewer stops at the gas station than the BMW 440, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the BMW 430 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the BMW 440. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The BMW 430 and the BMW 440 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The BMW 430 is about the same width as the BMW 440. When looking at overall length, the BMW 430 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the BMW 440.

Drivetrain
The BMW 430 has much less torque than the BMW 440, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Handling
The BMW 430 has a larger turning radius than the BMW 440, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the BMW 430 is significantly less powerful than the BMW 440. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW 430 and the BMW 440. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries into the BMW 430 as you will in the BMW 440.

Warranty
The BMW 430 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW 440.
