Comparison Review

Comfort
The BMW 230 will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Audi TT.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Audi TT as you will with the BMW 230, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Audi TT is somewhat more expensive than the BMW 230. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Audi TT and the BMW 230 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Audi TT is much wider than the BMW 230, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Audi TT, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the BMW 230.

Drivetrain
With similar torque, the Audi TT and the BMW 230 do an equal job of transmitting their engine's power to their wheels.

Handling
The Audi TT has a smaller turning radius than the BMW 230, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Audi TT has less horsepower than the BMW 230, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
The Audi TT has less seating than the BMW 230, making the BMW 230 the better choice if you need to chauffeur many passengers. The Audi TT has significantly less cargo room than the BMW 230, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The Audi TT comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the BMW 230.
