Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Audi A8 than the Cadillac XTS. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Audi A8, drivers may find the Cadillac XTS a little roomier and somewhat more comfortable.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Audi A8 as you will with the Cadillac XTS, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Audi A8 will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Cadillac XTS, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Audi A8 and the Cadillac XTS have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Audi A8 is much wider than the Cadillac XTS, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Audi A8, which is slightly longer than the Cadillac XTS.

Drivetrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the Audi A8 does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the Cadillac XTS.

Handling
The Audi A8 has a larger turning radius than the Cadillac XTS, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Audi A8 is somewhat more powerful than the Cadillac XTS.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Audi A8 and the Cadillac XTS. The Audi A8 has significantly less cargo room than the Cadillac XTS, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The Audi A8 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Cadillac XTS.
