Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Audi A8 than the Cadillac CTS. The Cadillac CTS will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Audi A8.

Convenience
The Audi A8 will require fewer stops at the gas station than the Cadillac CTS, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Audi A8 will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Cadillac CTS, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Audi A8 and the Cadillac CTS have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Audi A8 is much wider than the Cadillac CTS, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Audi A8, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Cadillac CTS.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the Audi A8 transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Cadillac CTS.

Handling
The Audi A8 has a significantly larger turning radius than the Cadillac CTS, making it much more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, it's basically a tie between the Audi A8 and the Cadillac CTS.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Audi A8 and the Cadillac CTS. The Audi A8 has less cargo capacity than the Cadillac CTS, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The Audi A8 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Cadillac CTS.
