Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Volvo S90 than the Acura TLX, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Acura TLX and the Volvo S90 in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura TLX as you will with the Volvo S90, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Acura TLX will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Volvo S90. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura TLX and the Volvo S90 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Acura TLX is a little wider than the Volvo S90, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. The Acura TLX is slightly shorter than the Volvo S90, which may make it easier to park.

Handling
The Acura TLX has a larger turning radius than the Volvo S90, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Acura TLX has less horsepower than the Volvo S90, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Powertrain
With its lower torque, the Acura TLX doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Volvo S90.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura TLX and the Volvo S90. The Acura TLX has less cargo capacity than the Volvo S90, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The Acura TLX comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Volvo S90.
