Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will feel a little more squished in the Acura TLX than in the Volvo S60, due to the Acura TLX's smaller rear head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Acura TLX and the Volvo S60 in the front seats.

Convenience
The Volvo S60 requires fewer visits to the gas station than the Acura TLX, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Acura TLX is somewhat more expensive than the Volvo S60. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura TLX and the Volvo S60 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Acura TLX is much wider than the Volvo S60, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Acura TLX, which is slightly longer than the Volvo S60.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Acura TLX doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Volvo S60.

Handling
The Acura TLX has a larger turning radius than the Volvo S60, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Acura TLX has less horsepower than the Volvo S60, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura TLX and the Volvo S60. The Acura TLX has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the Volvo S60.

Warranty
The Acura TLX comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Volvo S60.
