Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class than the Acura TLX, due to its greater head- and legroom.
As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Acura TLX and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class in the front seats.
Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura TLX as you will with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.
Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Acura TLX will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
Dimensions
The Acura TLX is a little wider than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze.
When looking at overall length, the Acura TLX takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
Handling
The Acura TLX has a larger turning radius than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.
Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Acura TLX is somewhat more powerful than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
Powertrain
With similar torque, the Acura TLX and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class do an equal job of transmitting their engine's power to their wheels.
