Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will feel a little more squished in the Acura TLX than in the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, due to the Acura TLX's smaller rear head- and legroom. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the Acura TLX may be a little roomier and more comfortable for the driver and front seat passengers.

Convenience
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class requires fewer visits to the gas station than the Acura TLX, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Acura TLX will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura TLX and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Acura TLX is much wider than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Acura TLX, which is slightly longer than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

Drivetrain
With similar torque, the Acura TLX and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class do an equal job of transmitting their engine's power to their wheels.

Handling
The Acura TLX has a larger turning radius than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Acura TLX is somewhat more powerful than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura TLX and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The Acura TLX has a roomier cargo area for holding your bags or other items than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

Warranty
The Acura TLX comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
