Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Lexus ES 350 than the Acura TLX, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Acura TLX and the Lexus ES 350 in the front seats.

Convenience
The Lexus ES 350 requires fewer visits to the gas station than the Acura TLX, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Acura TLX will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Lexus ES 350. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura TLX and the Lexus ES 350 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Acura TLX is much wider than the Lexus ES 350, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. When looking at overall length, the Acura TLX takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Lexus ES 350.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the Acura TLX transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Lexus ES 350.

Handling
The Acura TLX has a larger turning radius than the Lexus ES 350, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Acura TLX has less horsepower than the Lexus ES 350, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura TLX and the Lexus ES 350. The Acura TLX has significantly less cargo room than the Lexus ES 350, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The Acura TLX comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Lexus ES 350.
