Comparison Review

Comfort
The Acura TLX offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the INFINITI Q50 with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. The INFINITI Q50 will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Acura TLX.

Convenience
With the INFINITI Q50 you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the Acura TLX, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Acura TLX will have less of an impact on your bank account than the INFINITI Q50. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura TLX and the INFINITI Q50 have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Acura TLX is much wider than the INFINITI Q50, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Acura TLX, which is slightly longer than the INFINITI Q50.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Acura TLX doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the INFINITI Q50.

Handling
The Acura TLX has a larger turning radius than the INFINITI Q50, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Acura TLX has less horsepower than the INFINITI Q50, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Acura TLX and the INFINITI Q50. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries into the Acura TLX as you will in the INFINITI Q50.

Warranty
The INFINITI Q50 offers a little more coverage in its basic warranty than the Acura TLX.
