Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Cadillac XT6 than in the Acura MDX, due to its greater head- and legroom. The Cadillac XT6 offers just a little more front head- and legroom than the Acura MDX, offering the driver and front passenger a bit more room and comfort.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura MDX as you will with the Cadillac XT6, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Whether you pick the Acura MDX or the Cadillac XT6, it's going to cost you about the same. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura MDX carries a much lower Destination Charge than the Cadillac XT6.

Dimensions
The Acura MDX is a little wider than the Cadillac XT6, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. When looking at overall length, the Acura MDX takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Cadillac XT6.

Performance
When considering towing capacity, the Acura MDX is clearly the choice over the Cadillac XT6 for pulling heavy loads. The Acura MDX has a little less horsepower than the Cadillac XT6.

Powertrain
With similar torque, the Acura MDX and the Cadillac XT6 are about even in transmitting their respective horsepower to the wheels.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Acura MDX and the Cadillac XT6. The Acura MDX has a roomier cargo area for putting your bags or other items than the Cadillac XT6.

Warranty
The Acura MDX comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Cadillac XT6.
