Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Buick Enclave than in the Acura MDX, due to its greater head- and legroom. The Buick Enclave will be a hit with tall drivers and their front seat passengers, since it has greater front head- and legroom than the Acura MDX.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Acura MDX as you will with the Buick Enclave, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Acura MDX is somewhat more expensive than the Buick Enclave. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Acura MDX carries a much lower Destination Charge than the Buick Enclave.

Dimensions
The Acura MDX is about the same width as the Buick Enclave. The Acura MDX is slightly shorter than the Buick Enclave, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
With similar torque, the Acura MDX and the Buick Enclave are about even in transmitting their respective horsepower to the wheels.

Handling
The Acura MDX has a larger turning radius than the Buick Enclave, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When considering towing capacity, the Acura MDX is clearly the choice over the Buick Enclave for pulling heavy loads. The Acura MDX has a little less horsepower than the Buick Enclave.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Acura MDX and the Buick Enclave. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries in the Acura MDX as you will in the Buick Enclave.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Acura MDX than that of the Buick Enclave.
