Straub Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Had my truck in with a few problems covered under warranty. Took in for an ABS sensor, bad thermostat, brake light out showing on display, noise in front (wheel bearing) and screen is showing that the truck is going into 4 wheel drive. Only the sensor and thermostat was changed. I took it in a second time but it was showing oil seal was leaking on the wheel bearing that should have been changed on the first service. They charged me another deductible and still didn't fix the other problems. When I got the truck home and went to restart smoke rolled out from under the hood. I called to ask if they had something disconnected so I could trouble shoot. They said that my rep was on lunch and call back in an hour. Good thing I was home and was able to fix it myself.

Customer service is the worst! They improperly installed a part, resulting in another dealership repairing it correctly for $1900. Then after several presentations of a letter of intent for a refund of the original cost plus the additional repair, I finally received a call(after leaving several voice messages) from Dave Yoho ,service manager, who proceeded to call me “deceitful” and was told “you just want your money back.” Told me the other dealership was wrong and they fixed the problem.They sure did not. They wanted to replace the heater core which wasn’t the problem. After paying over $800 to Straub , I left the garage in the middle of January with no heat and they were not concerned one bit. It’s been a nightmare for over a year dealing with them. Only after reporting all of this to the BBB, did I even see a response from Rick Maines, the GM. It wasn’t addressed to me,I had to get that info 2nd hand. Steer clear of this place……..very dishonest people.

I went to look at a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. The vehicle seemed ok but I was unable to fully assess it because they wouldn’t let me test drive it unless we talked numbers. I’m sure they’ve had a ton of people who just want to joyride their 707 HP beast so I understand being cautious about who gets to drive it. I let them look over my low mileage, 6 speed manual, 2010 Audi S4 as a possible trade in. They came back with a lowball offer, which is to be expected from any dealership. They’re in the business to make money so I get it. I wasn’t even shocked or upset about it since I could easily sell my own car for twice as much as they offered for it. The part that rubbed me wrong about the whole thing is how they wanted me to commit to buying a $76,000 vehicle before I could even test drive it. No thank you! But thanks for wasting 2.5 hours of my day driving there and back, working numbers and not even letting me test drive the car…
