Frustrating and terrible experience

I went in with my 10 yr old last night 3/24/21, to test drive a preowned vehicle in the pouring rain was told I couldn’t but was able to sit in vehicle. Son loves it asked for numbers he said he could give me estimates. I would have purchased the vehicle that night had he actually run numbers for me but it seemed like he wanted to go home And resume in the morning. He gave me general numbers nothing in writing. So we left but made appt to go back back today and see vehicle in sunlight first thing 1030 am to see in daylight test drive vehicle son loved it. Asked to go inside and do paperwork sales guy said we could do it over text. Left to take son to school and I texted salesperson literally 5 min after left. That id come back right away and purchase if he could go down in price by $1k. We went back and forth a bit foe 2 hours and miraculously someone else from Their other dealership had someone put a deposit on the car and paperwork earlier in the morning??!!! What!?! I was in the car testing driving it at 1030 am by 1113 am I said I’d purchase or come back snd out deposit he never told me to leave otherwise I would have. They literally sold the vehicle right from under me Terrible experience and in speaking with sales manager when I drove back at 1pm I was so upset he said it was too late someone else purchased it. I spoke to manage. as per manage nothing they could do they are such a busy dealership
They can’t keep track of all their inventory the salespeople Don’t have access to knowing who is test driving what car. Ridiculous the manager then offered me a more expensive vehicle with higher mileage. Shame on you guys for not being on the up and up especially when you saw how excited my son was to buy the vehicle. And I told the sales fit I’m ready to buy and didn’t want and back and forth nonsense shame on them. They lost my business I have told a few friends and more than 4 people have said they had bad experiences as well with this location. What a shame this day and age with technology they can’t keep better track. My 10
